Service Contracts
Did you know that you can pay up to £192 a year for a service contract when an annual service from us costs just £50(approx)? We'll let you do the maths...
Servicing & Repairs
Central heating system seen better days? Gas fire not burning as bright? Not a problem. Give us a ring and we'll pop round, see what the issue is and have it fixed so you'll be warm and cosy again in no time!
Supply & Install
We can supply and install programmers, radiators, thermostatic radiator valves, spare parts and pumps and although we don't supply them we'll happily install and gas fires or cookers for you.
Power Flushing
This specialised process is the most efficient way of cleansing central heating systems and, although it can be quite costly starting at around £350(+VAT), can solve a range of problems including fuel wastage, boiler noise and more!
Landlord Certificates
With just a quick check over the system we can issue certification which legally protects both landlord and tennant.

Paul
Paul Crombie, the founder of Central Gas started out his career in 1972 as an apprentice with Scottish Gas. He then retrained as a service engineer and spent the last 5 years there as a technical instructor before moving off to start up his own business.
Stephen
After a 3 year apprenticeship Stephen Crombie followed in his father's footsteps and joined the family business to work alongside Paul.
Gas Safe
Who are Gas Safe?
Gas Safe are the British regulators of gas installers. Knowing that the person installing your gas appliance has this registration gives you peace of mind that the work is guaranteed to be done to the highest standard.
Why use a Gas Safe registered installer?
In order to get that coveted Gas Safe symbol your gas engineer must be trained to the highest standards in safety and efficiency. Can you afford not to?

Coverage
Which area do we cover?
Our current cut off points (from Penicuik, where we are based) are Innerleithen, Tranent, Falkirk, South Queensferry, Livingston and Edinburgh. This isn't set in stone though so don't let that put you off calling!
Why have we set those cut off points?
To try and give each of our customers the best service that we can we try to keep travelling distance to a maximum of 30 mins. This allows us to schedule our jobs efficiently and pass this on to you by arriving on time.
How can you get us to come and visit?
If you want us to come and pay you a visit you need only ask. You can email us if you like or alternatively you can pick up the dog and bone and give us an old fashioned ring on the phone. We like to hear our customer's voices. Contact us and we'll arrange a visit.
